The Radford Theatre
The Radford Theatre is your place to see daily movies and experience a vintage main street theatre. We are walking distance from all of the shops of downtown Radford, and we're minutes away from the Radford University campus.
About our staff
Shad and Breyan- Owners
The Scarrettes took over ownership in September of 2019 and look forward to making new and exciting changes to your downtown Radford Theatre! Shad has lots of new ideas to make your movie-going experience amazing while Breyan is working on the aesthetic value of the theatre, making it a more exciting place to be!
A senior at RHS, Kyle is a photographer and the editor of his school yearbook. He wants to go to school very far away for college, but we're pretty sure we aren't going to let that happen.
Marcus- Official Videographer
Marcus also works at Radford Theatre on and off, and is always good in a pinch. An excellent photographer and video editor, Marcus spends his free time making his friends and loved ones feel important by recording every single action they make. It's not annoying at all.
Shaylin has lived in Radford since 2005, and has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English/American Literature from RU and teaches Core at RU today. She loves cats and cheese more than anything else. She will talk to you at length about Kpop if you get her started.
Andy- Mechanic Extraordinaire
Resident artist- most of the artwork you see here is done by Andy- and handyman, Andy spends his days working for NRVCS/Radford Transit. Andy would like to own a cat farm in the future.
Sadie- The Popup
Sadie is a freshman at Bridgewater College and helps out when we need her for big events. She enjoys the show Friends and takes naps frequently to avoid school work.
Kayla- The Booker
Kayla brings a bunch of information about local musicians to the table here at Radford Theatre. Someday she hopes to make Radford a go- to spot for musicians to come and play.
